Sispe
chambers’ modular structure
allows considerable flexibility
in their arrangement to meet every kind
of technical or scientific requirement.
The panels are modular,
and
clad in two sheets of galvanized steel.
Our shielded chamber
doors are
also clad in a double layer of galvanized steel. Electrical continuity
is ensured by means of a double row of contacts located in a special
channel. There are various manual
and automatic
closing systems
carefully worked out by our design staff to meet the user’s
requirements.
Sispe can
construct shielded chambers, Tempest chambers,
anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers; we have the know-how to design and
build special shielded
chambers, including chambers in non-magnetic
material which are widely used in the field of Nuclear Magnetic
Resonance (NMR).
The
dimensions and volume of the electromagnetic
shielding can vary according to the type of use. Sispe can make
anything from little shielded boxes of very small dimensions
to
chambers of great volume.
Sispe shielded
chambers have manifold
applications: in universities
and research institutes; in
telecommunications (for research into and testing of radiation
potentially harmful to humans); in hospitals
(for labs equipped with
interference-sensitive electronic apparatus); in industry (for
calibrating antennas and electronic apparatus, for testing equipment,
high-voltage cables and transformers) and in security-related
applications anywhere that information needs to be protected.
